                      India's Singh Says He Will Step Down

   India`s prime minister says he will step down after elections later
   this year.
   Manmohan Singh said Friday that he will hand over power to a new prime
   minister after elections this year, even if his Congress party wins the
   elections.
   Analysts say the Congress party is not likely to win the 2014 ballot.
   Mr. Singh made the announcement at his first full news conference in
   three years.
