                   Masuzoe Wins Tokyo Gubernatorial Election

   The candidate backed by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has won a
   landslide victory in Sunday's election for governor of Tokyo.
   Former health minister Yoichi Masuzoe told his supporters that he would
   make Tokyo the world's number one city. The new governor will be tasked
   with starting preparations for the 2020 Olympics, preparing for a
   long-feared huge earthquake and reducing Japan's nuclear dependency.
   Masuzoe replaces former governor Naoki Inose, who resigned in December
   amid scandal.
