                         Gunmen Kill Policeman in Cairo

   Egypt's Interior Ministry says gunmen on a motorcycle have shot and
   killed a police officer and wounded another officer.

   The ministry says the police were guarding a bank in Cairo Saturday
   morning when the gunmen opened fire.

   The assailants escaped and no one has claimed responsibility for the
   attack.  However, the Sinai-based Ansar Beit al-Maqdis militant group
   has claimed responsibility for a string of similar attacks against
   police and army forces.
