Factory Blast Kills 65 in China by VOA News Chinese officials say 65 people have been killed and more than 100 injured in an explosion at a factory in eastern Kunshan City. Authorities say the explosion occurred at 7:30 a.m. Saturday (1130 Friday UTC) in an automobile wheel hub grinding workshop owned by a Taiwanese firm. A preliminary investigation showed that the blast was probably caused when dust in an enclosed room was exposed to a spark or flame. The local city government said 45 bodies were pulled from rubble and another 20 people died later in hospitals. Many of the injured had severe burns. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/factory-blast-kills-sixty-five-in-chi na/1970273.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/factory-blast-kills-sixty-five-in-china/1970273.html
