                     CN- Obama Trip to Asia Worries Beijing

   During his trip to Asia, President Barack Obama assured Japan that
   Washington would come to its aid if tensions over disputed islands with
   China ever boiled over. He also signed a new troop rotation pact with
   the Philippines leading some to call the trip the 'contain China tour.'
   VOA's Bill Ide reports from Beijing where few appeared convinced by Mr.
   Obama's assurances that Washington is not trying to halt China's
   peaceful rise
