Security Guard Opens Fire in Kabul Hospital, Kills 3 by VOA News A security guard has opened fire at a hospital in the Afghan capital, killing three foreigners and wounding at least one other person. Afghan police said the attack occurred Thursday at western Kabul's Cure Hospital, which is run by a United States-based charity group. At least one of those killed was a doctor. Officials could not comment on the nationalities of any of the victims. Foreign civilians in Afghanistan have been the target of several attacks this year. Earlier this month, two Associated Press journalists were shot by a police officer in the eastern part of the country. In March, a Swedish journalist was killed outside a Kabul restaurant. Twenty-one people were killed in January in a bombing at a Lebanese restaurant in Kabul's diplomatic district. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/security-guard-opens-fire-in-kabul-ho spital-kills-3/1900022.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/security-guard-opens-fire-in-kabul-hospital-kills-3/1900022.html
