A suicide bomber and several gunmen targeted the university, killing five people and wounding more than 13 others. Medical officials confirmed causality figures, but there was no official statement on the violence. There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the bombings, but violence across Iraq has increased as militants look to undermine the Shi`ite-led government ahead of the parliamentary election on April 30. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/14-killed-in-violence-across-iraq/189 7389.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/14-killed-in-violence-across-iraq/1897389.html
