                       7 Killed in Suicide Attack in Iraq

   Officials in northern Iraq say a suicide car bomber has killed seven
   people.
   Authorities say the bomber drove his explosives-laden vehicle into a
   security checkpoint northwest of the city of Kirkuk.
   Officials say at least 11 people were wounded in the attack Sunday.
   No one has claimed responsibility for the assault.
   Iraq has been experiencing its worst violence in recent years, driven
   by widespread discontent among its Sunni Arab minority and the civil
   war in neighboring Syria.
