Kerry: Terrorists 'Can Run But They Can't Hide' U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says the two high-profile raids in northern and eastern Africa demonstrate the unrelenting determination of the U.S. to hunt down terrorists. Kerry said Sunday in Indonesia where he is attending an economic summit that the raids in Libya and Somalia Saturday show terrorists they "can run but they can`t hide." American forces captured al-Qaida leader Abu Anas el-Liby in Tripoli. He is facing charges for the 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. The attacks killed more than 250 people and wounded thousands. Earlier Saturday, a U.S. Navy SEAL team in Barawe, Somalia, targeted a senior leader of the al-Qaida militant group al-Shabab, the group responsible for the recent deadly attack on Nairobi`s Westgate shopping mall. Several al-Shabab militants were killed in the pre-dawn raid, but it is not clear if the targeted militant was among the dead or wounded. U.S. Defense Department officials say the team failed to capture him. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/kerry-terrorists-can-run-but-they-can t-hide/1763898.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/kerry-terrorists-can-run-but-they-cant-hide/1763898.html
