                Separatist Rebels to Return to Mali Peace Talks

   Separatist rebels in northern Mali say they are returning to peace
   talks with the government about a week after they walked out of
   negotiations.
   The rebels made the announcement late Saturday after talks in
   neighboring Burkina Faso.
   Rebel groups carried out several attacks since the suspension of the
   talks.
   A new government is trying to restore order after 21 months of turmoil
   that included a Taureg uprising, a coup in Bamako, the takeover of the
   north by Islamist militants and a French-led offensive that drove the
   militants from power.
