                  Man Sets Himself on Fire on US National Mall

   U.S. fire officials say a man has been taken to a hospital after
   apparently setting himself on fire on the National Mall in Washington.
   The Associated Press cites a witness who says she saw the man dump a
   canister of gasoline on his head and then set himself on fire. She says
   passing joggers took off their shirts to help put out the flames.
   Police say they responded to an emergency call Friday afternoon about
   the fire, which happened on the National Mall, famous for the museums
   and monuments that surround it.
   It was not immediately known who the man is or why he set himself
   ablaze.
   Video of the scene showed police vehicles and a helicopter in the area.
