At Least 9 Killed in Iraq Attacks by VOA News Attacks in northern Iraq killed nine people Saturday. Officials say the deadliest attack was near the northern city of Mosul, where a suicide car bomber targeted a police patrol, killing four people including a policeman. In Tuz Khormato, some 200 kilometers north of Baghdad, gunmen killed three policemen and wounded one other. Violence was also reported in Tikrit and Samarra. No group has claimed responsibility for the latest attacks.
