                          Nelson Mandela Hospitalized

   South Africa`s government says former president Nelson Mandela was
   re-admitted to a hospital early Saturday in serious condition for a
   recurring lung infection.
   President Jacob Zuma`s office released a statement saying Mr. Mandela`s
   condition worsened overnight and he was taken to a Pretoria hospital.
   He is listed in "serious but stable" condition.
   The 94-year-old anti-apartheid icon was treated for pneumonia during a
   10-day hospital stay in April.
   Mr. Mandela`s history with respiratory problems surfaced during his 27
   years in prison during apartheid.
   He has been rarely seen in public in recent years, as his health became
   more fragile.
