                      The Assassination of Mohamed Brahmi

   Outspoken opposition leader Mohamed Brahmi was shot to death July 25 by
   unknown gunmen outside his home in the capital, Tunis. Tunisia braced
   for protests and a general strike July 26, in response to the
   assassination.
