Eight people were wounded in the attack. Authorities say there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the explosion Friday at the Spin Boldak crossing in Afghanistan. Such attacks are usually the work of Islamic militants. In recent weeks, Taliban insurgents have accelerated their campaign of suicide attacks and roadside bombs against Afghan officials and Afghan and U.S.-led NATO troops. Around 100,000 NATO troops based in Afghanistan are handing over security responsibility to Afghan forces before the international combat mission ends next year. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/2-killed-in-afghanistan-blast/1695598 .html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/2-killed-in-afghanistan-blast/1695598.html
