U.S. Business Delegation Visits Burma A major business delegation including 50 representatives of U.S. companies is visiting Burma through Thursday to explore trade and investment opportunities in the resource-rich nation. It is the first major U.S. business delegation to the country since President Barack Obama`s historic trip in November. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce said Friday that the group includes representatives from a wide range of industries, including agribusiness, automotive, electronics, energy, retailing and telecommunications. The Chamber`s delegates will participate in a U.S.-Burma trade symposium in the business center of Rangoon before meeting with government ministers and senior officials, non-governmental organizations, U.S. embassy officials and others. Economic officials in Burma say they are grateful for U.S. support. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/us-business-delegation-visits-burma/1 610089.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/us-business-delegation-visits-burma/1610089.html
