                Reports: US to Join Suit Against Lance Armstrong

   The U.S. Justice Department is reportedly joining a lawsuit against
   disgraced American cyclist Lance Armstrong to recover sponsorship
   money.
   News reports on Friday said the U.S. government is to join the
   whistleblower lawsuit by one of Armstrong`s former teammates, Floyd
   Landis, who claims Armstrong defrauded the government by using
   performance-enhancing drugs while on the U.S. Postal Service Team.
   The 41-year-old Armstrong vehemently denied for years that he used
   banned drugs. But the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency uncovered evidence last
   year that Armstrong did cheat.
   He was stripped of his seven Tour de France wins and has been banned
   from competitive cycling for life.
   In an interview this year with U.S. television personality Oprah
   Winfrey, Armstrong admitted doping.
