                        Asteroid Streaks Close to Earth

   If news of a meteor slamming into Siberia wasn't unsettling enough, an
   astroid is heading towards Earth. Astronomers say we're safe - the
   Asteroid 2012 DA14 is hurtling towards the planet but is not on track
   to hit it.  It is expected to come within 28,000 kilometers of Earth on
   Friday, at 7.8 kilometers per second.
