                 Baltimore Leads Midway Through the Super Bowl

   The Baltimore Ravens have grabbed an early lead against the San
   Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl -- the championship game of the U.S.
   National Football League.
   More than 100 million people in the United States and around the world
   on Sunday watched the Ravens lead 21-6 midway in Super Bowl 47 at the
   Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
   The contest is a family affair. For the first time in the four major
   U.S. professional sports leagues -- football, baseball, basketball and
   hockey -- brothers are opposing each other as head coaches in a
   championship game.
   Baltimore`s John Harbaugh and younger brother Jim Harbaugh are two of
   the best in the business.
   Pop superstar Beyonce` is headlining the half time entertainment.
   Animal Planet, a cable television station, is offering its viewers
   alternate programming with a different type of sports competition - The
   Puppy Bowl - for those who would rather watch terrier touchdowns or
   puppy penalties. The Puppy Bowl returns for its eighth year with
   hedgehog cheerleaders on the sidelines and kittens headlining its half
   time show.
