Obama: No Decision Yet on Syria U.S. President Barack Obama says he has not yet decided on how to respond to the chemical weapons attack in Syria. Mr. Obama told PBS television`s NewsHour Wednesday that any military strike would be tailored and limited, saying he wants the Assad regime to know that it better not use chemical weapons again. Mr. Obama said he has no interest in an open-ended conflict in Syria. But given Syria`s past support of terrorist groups, he said there is the prospect of chemical weapons directed at the United States. The president said the U.S. does not have great options in dealing with Syria. Mr. Obama, however, said a "shot across the bow" aimed at Syria could deter another chemical weapons attack and have a positive long-term impact on U.S. national security. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/obama-no-decision-yet-on-syria/173916 4.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/obama-no-decision-yet-on-syria/1739164.html
