The suicide bombing struck a popular park in the Qahira neighborhood in north Baghdad. More than 50 people were wounded. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for that attack. Deadly gun and bomb attacks elsewhere in the country hit both Shi`ite and Sunni areas. Violence has been on the rise in Iraq since the government began a crackdown on a Sunni protest camp in April. Militants have been striking restaurants and other places where people gather in an effort to inflict maximum casualties. More than 3,000 people have been killed in the violence this year. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/32-killed-in-violence-in-iraq/1736001 .html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/32-killed-in-violence-in-iraq/1736001.html
