             Suicide Attack Targets Indian Consulate in Afghanistan

   Suicide car bombers have attacked the Indian consulate in Afghanistan`s
   eastern city of Jalalabad, killing at least nine people, including
   children.
   Officials say many of the casualties were in a mosque adjacent to the
   consulate. More than 20 people were wounded.
   New Delhi strongly condemned the attack, saying it highlighted that
   "the main threat to Afghanistan`s security and stability stems from
   terrorism." India`s external affairs office says all Indian officials
   are safe.
   The Taliban denied responsibility for the blast. Afghan authorities say
   all three attackers died.
