Syrian PM Survives Bomb Attack Syrian Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi has survived a bomb attack against his convoy in Damascus. State media say Monday`s blast in the Mazzeh district on the west side of the capital caused casualties, but that the prime minister was unhurt. They call the bombing a "terrorist explosion." Syrian authorities use the term "terrorists" to refer to those fighting to end President Bashar al-Assad`s rule. Mazzeh is an upscale area of Damascus that is home to many senior officials. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/syrian-pm-survives-bomb-attack/165066 2.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/syrian-pm-survives-bomb-attack/1650662.html
