Twenty-nine-year-old freelance photographer Pierre Borghi was kidnapped in late November in Kabul. Afghan officials said he was found at a security checkpoint in central Wardak province and brought to the capital. French officials confirmed that a second hostage was freed by his captors, but they did not provide any more details. There has been no claim of responsibility for either kidnapping. Also Monday, a roadside bomb exploded under a bus in Wardak province, killing nine people and wounding at least 22 others. Local officials say they suspect Taliban militants are responsible. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/2-french-hostages-free-in-afghanistan /1637447.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/2-french-hostages-free-in-afghanistan/1637447.html
