   South Africa's African National Congress is celebrating its 100^th
   anniversary this year.

   The once militant opposition group is now the country's dominant ruling
   party. Nevertheless, it faces many political, social and economic
   challenges in a country where democracy is still very young.

   VOA reporter Delia Robertson is also a South African historian. To
