Iranian Warships Sail Through Mediterranean

   VOA News

   Two Iranian warships have entered the Mediterranean Sea after crossing
   through the Suez Canal.
   Iran's Mehr new agency says the destroyer and supply ship docked in the
   Syrian port of Tartus, some 220 kilometers northwest of the capital,
   Damascus on Friday.
   It says the naval deployment will provide maritime training to Syria's
   naval forces under an agreement signed between the two nations a year
   ago.
