September 07, 2011 Panamanian Police Arrest 80 People in Major Drug Bust VOA News Panama's drug prosecutor says a series of raids has disrupted a major trafficking ring that moved cocaine from Colombia to Panama and further north to the United States. Javier Caraballo said 80 Panamanians and Colombians were arrested in Monday's raids. Authorities believe the traffickers used gangs associated with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia [FARC].
