The U.S. National Hurricane Center says Hurricane Jova could make landfall on coastal southwestern Mexico by Tuesday. Jova is expected to strengthen and may become a major storm before it reaches the Mexican coast. Forecasters say heavy rains from Jova could trigger flooding and landslides. In the Atlantic, former hurricane Philippe has been downgraded and poses no threat to land. The Atlantic and the Eastern Pacific Hurricane Seasons end November 30.
