Several Dead in Suicide Bombing in Iraq

   VOA News

   Iraqi officials say several people have been killed in a suicide
   bombing at a police station just north of the capital, Baghdad.
   The incident occurred Sunday in Tarmiyah when the bomber detonated his
   explosive vest. At least 12 people were wounded, many of them police
   officers.
   Police and security personnel have become a frequent target of
   insurgents as Iraq prepares for the withdrawal of U.S. forces. The
   withdrawal is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
