Afghan authorities say Jan Mohammad Khan was killed Sunday night during an attack on his home in the capital, Kabul. No further details have been released and authorities say fighting in the area is still ongoing. The attack comes just days after the assassination of Karzai's brother, Ahmad Wali Karzai, in southern Kandahar province. Meanwhile, officials in eastern Afghanistan said Sunday that Afghan and foreign troops killed at least 10 Taliban fighters in a school in Nangarhar province. Officials said the coalition forces targeted the militants using ground troops and airstrikes. Authorities said there were no children in the school during the attack. .
