Fire Kills 16 in Ukrainian Retirement Home

   Ukrainian officials say a fire at a home for the elderly has killed 16
   people and injured 11 others.
   The Emergency Ministry said the fire early Sunday engulfed a one-story
   wood and concrete retirement home in the western village of Bile.
   The ministry said three of the 11 rescued were in serious condition.
   The cause of the fire has not been determined.
