   President Barack Obama delivers his weekly address, Jan 29, 2011

   U.S.  President Barack Obama says business innovation is a cornerstone
   in reviving the economy and creating new jobs.
   Speaking  from  a Wisconsin energy company that showcases his message,
   Mr.  Obama  used  his  weekly  address  Saturday  to  begin "shining a
   spotlight  on  innovators  across  America  who  are  relying  on  new
   technologies to create new jobs and opportunities in new industries."
   The  president  said,  in  the  coming  days, he will showcase various
   companies  that  will  help America "win the future by out-innovating,
   out-educating, and out-building" competitors.

   Mr.  Obama says reforming the government and cutting wasteful spending
   are necessary steps to finance investments in education and research.
   The  president  points  to  his  proposed  increase  in  tax  cuts for
   businesses  doing  research  as  an  example of his commitment to grow
   American business and generate jobs.
   In  the  Republicans'  weekly  address,  Senator Ron Johnson said that
   smaller  government  and  less  spending  are  the cures for country's
   ailing economy.
