Authorities said the bomb exploded Monday at a bus terminal, killing Shi'ite pilgrims who have gathered for the religious ceremony Arbain. The bombing follows a pair of suicide blasts outside the city last week that killed at least 50 people. Arbain marks the end of the annual mourning period for the death of the 7th century Shi'ite Imam Hussein. The event culminates Tuesday.
