Gunmen Set NATO Fuel Tankers on Fire in Pakistan

   VOA News  15 January 2011

   Pakistan  officials  say  gunmen  have  set ablaze at least 18 tankers
   carrying fuel oil to U.S. and NATO troops in neighboring Afghanistan.
   They   say  the  attack  took  place  early  Saturday  in  Baluchistan
   province.  At least one person was wounded.
   No  one  has  claimed  responsibility, but Islamic militants have been
   linked  to  attacks  on  tankers  traveling  between  Afghanistan  and
   Pakistan in the past.
   In  November, suspected militants were blamed for setting on fire fuel
   tankers bound for NATO troops in Nagarhar province in Afghanistan.
