'The King's Speech' Wins Best Picture Oscar

   Film also earns best actor, director, screenplay honors

   The  British  drama  The  King's Speech has won the Oscar for the Best
   Picture at the 83rd Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.  The film
   was  nominated  in 12 categories and won 4 Oscars - Best Picture, Best
   Actor, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.
   Colin  Firth  won  the  Oscar  for  Best  Actor  for  his portrayal of
   Britain's  King  George VI, who in the 1930s struggled successfully to
   overcome a crippling stammer.
   Natalie  Portman  took home the Best Actress Oscar for her turn in the
   dark ballerina drama Black Swan.
   The  Fighter beat its competition in the supporting acting categories,
   resulting in Oscars for Melissa Leo and Christian Bale.
   Danish  film  In  a  Better  World  won the Best Foreign Language Film
   Oscar. Â
   The award for the Best Animated Feature went to Toy Story 3.
   The  Social Network, a story of the founder of Facebook, won the Oscar
   for Best Adapted Screenplay.
   Hosting  this  year's Academy Awards were actors James Franco and Anne
   Hathaway. Â
   Franco  was  nominated  in  the Best Actor category for 127 Hours, the
   story  of  a mountain hiker who gets trapped and is forced to amputate
   his arm in order to save his life.
