Authorities say Sunday's explosions went off in the Arghandab district, on the outskirts of Kandahar city. Police say five of their officers were wounded in the explosions. There has been no claim of responsibility for the attack, although the Taliban considers dogfighting un-Islamic. Dogfighting is popular in southern Afghanistan. An ISAF service member also died Sunday in a bomb blast in southern Afghanistan. .
