Azerbaijan Soldier Kills Seven in Shooting Rampage

   VOA News  February 21, 2011

   A  soldier  in  Azerbaijan  has  opened fire on his fellow servicemen,
   killing seven young soldiers in a military base in the western part of
   the country.
   Officials  say  they  are investigating the incident, which took place
   Sunday  in  the  Goygol  region, some 430 kilometers from the capital,
   Baku.
   Azerbaijan's  Defense  Ministry  and the prosecutor's office said in a
   joint  statement  that  the victims were all under 20 years old. It is
   not clear what happened to the soldier who did the shooting.
