Bombings Kill 3 in Iraqi Capital VOA News February 15, 2011 Iraqi officials say a pair of bombs killed at least three people and wounded six others in eastern Baghdad Tuesday. Officials said one blast struck a market in the Zafaraniya neighborhood, while the second bomb targeted police a few blocks away. Meanwhile, hundreds of Iraqis protested in cities across the country against corruption, limited basic services and shortages of electricity and food. They were reports of protests in Fallujah, Baghdad's Shi'ite district of Sadr City, and other areas across Iraq. The demonstrations are the latest in a series across the country that some protest groups say are inspired by uprisings throughout the Middle East.
