   The army chief for Ivory Coast's defiant leader, Laurent Gbagbo, has
   called for a cease-fire.
   General Philippe Mangou spoke on Tuesday, as forces loyal to
   internationally-recognized president Alassane Ouattara continued an
   offensive to force Mr. Gbagbo from power.
   Mangou resumed his duties as army chief on Sunday after seeking refuge
   in the home of the South African ambassador last week.
