Authorities say eight people, including four translators, were wounded in Saturday's blast in Jalalabad. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack. Security forces in Afghanistan have been the target of a recent wave of suicide attacks, a key Taliban tactic. The attacks come as Afghan security forces are preparing to take increasing responsibility for their own country's security as foreign troops pull back. On Friday, a suicide bomber dressed as a police officer killed the police chief of southern Kandahar province in his own office.
