Nigerian Kidnappers Demand Ransom for School Children VOA News 28 September 2010 Nigerian police are searching for 15 school children who were kidnapped in southeastern Nigeria by armed gunmen. Police spokesmen said Tuesday the kidnappers have demanded a ransom from the owners of the private school the children attend. They seized the children after hijacking their school bus early Monday morning. Police say the students attend nursery school and primary school at Abayi International School, in Abia state.
