Afghanistan Building Collapse Kills At Least 60 VOA News 27 October 2010 Officials say as many as 60 people, mainly women and children, may have been killed Wednesday when a part of a house collapsed during a wedding party in northern Afghanistan. More than 40 others were injured in the accident which occurred in the Jellaba district of Baghlan province. Â Officials say one floor of the multi-story home collapsed during the wedding celebration. Authorities said they were having a tough time getting information and access because the village is located in a remote area.
