Missile Strike Kills 6 in Pakistan

   VOA News 18 October 2010

   Pakistani officials say suspected U.S. missile strikes killed at least
   six militants in the Datta Khel region of North Waziristan on Monday.
   The officials provided no details on the targets of the strikes.

   Elsewhere  in  Pakistan,  a  suicide  car bomber attempted to attack a
   military  checkpoint  in the northwestern district of Lakki Marwat and
   security forces opened fire on him.  Three people were wounded in the
   resulting explosion.
