Pakistani Officials: US Missile Strikes Kill 7

   Pakistani  intelligence officials two U.S. missile strikes have killed
   at  least  seven  suspected  militants  in  the country's northwestern
   tribal region.
   The  first  drone  strike  Wednesday struck a vehicle near the town of
   Miran  Shah  in  North  Waziristan,  killing at least four militants.Â
   Hours  later,  officials say a second attack killed three militants in
   the same region.
   The United States has been increasing its use of drone strikes against
   Taliban  and  al-Qaida-linked militants in northwestern Pakistan, near
   the border with Afghanistan. Â
   On  Monday,  Pakistani  intelligence  officials  said a suspected U.S.
   missile strike killed five suspected militants in the region.
   Pakistani  officials often criticize the strikes as a violation of the
   country's  sovereignty,  and  the  U.S.  does not publicly acknowledge
   them.
