Pakistani Officials: US Missile Strikes Kill 7 VOA News 03 November 2010 Pakistani intelligence officials two U.S. missile strikes have killed at least seven suspected militants in the country's northwestern tribal region. The first drone strike Wednesday struck a vehicle near the town of Miran Shah in North Waziristan, killing at least four militants. Hours later, officials say a second attack killed three militants in the same region. The United States has been increasing its use of drone strikes against Taliban and al-Qaida-linked militants in northwestern Pakistan, near the border with Afghanistan.  On Monday, Pakistani intelligence officials said a suspected U.S. missile strike killed five suspected militants in the region. Pakistani officials often criticize the strikes as a violation of the country's sovereignty, and the U.S. does not publicly acknowledge them.
