South Pacific Quake Triggers Tsunami Warning

   VOA News 27 May 2010

   A  major earthquake in the South Pacific Ocean has triggered a tsunami
   warning for several island nations and territories.
   The  U.S. Pacific Tsunami Warning Center told VOA a tsunami warning is
   in effect for Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands and the French territory of
   New Caledonia.
   No other details were immediately available.
