   Russian President Dmitri Medvedev said Saturday there is international
   agreement on nuclear sanctions for Iran.
   His  comments  came  after  two  days  of talks with German Chancellor
   Angela Merkel.
   Mr.  Medvedev said he hopes Iran's leadership "will hear the voice" of
   the international community.
   Russia  has  been  reluctant  to  impose sanctions on Iran, which is a
   longtime trade partner.
   The  United  States and Western allies have accused Iran of working to
   develop nuclear weapons.
   Iran says its program is strictly for peaceful purposes.
   Russian  Foreign  Minister Sergei Lavrov said Friday the U.N. Security
   Council  is  close  to completing work on a draft resolution that will
   impose new sanctions on Iran for its disputed nuclear program.
