Photo: AP Pakistani officials gather at site of bombing in Pabbi where suicide bomber struck near home of provincial minister whose only son was recently killed in Peshawar, 26 July 2010 Pakistani police say a suicide bomber has killed seven people and wounded at least 21 others outside the home of a provincial government minister in northwest Pakistan. Monday's attack came just two days after the son of the same minister was shot dead by suspected Islamist militants. Police say the information minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, was receiving condolences for his son's death at his home in the town of Pabbi, near the provincial capital, Peshawar, when a suicide bomber tried to get past security. The attacker detonated his explosives after being intercepted, killing at least three police officers.
