Iran Accuses UN Agency of Spying VOA News 04 December 2010 Iran is accusing the U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency of sending spies along with its inspectors to monitor the country's nuclear activities. Iran state television on Saturday quoted Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi as saying the U.N. agency was sending spies from foreign intelligence agencies, and that the agency should be held responsible. He did not elaborate which inspectors were spies, and he gave no further details. Western nations have accused Iran of pursuing nuclear technology to make weapons. Iran denies the charge. Earlier this week, the intelligence minister accused the U.N. of being involved in a bombing in Tehran that killed a nuclear scientist and wounded another. Moslehi said the intelligence agencies of the U.S., Britain and Israel were involved.
