Medical officials say at least 10 people were wounded during the gun battle in the mostly Sunni neighborhood of Saidiya. Officials say at least six of those wounded are police officers. Authorities say the clashes erupted as police were investigating a tip concerning a stolen car. On Friday, at least two policemen were killed and four others wounded in the capital. Separately, two policemen and 13 civilians were injured after a bomb exploded in Baghdad.
