Poland Orders Suspected Israeli Spy Extradited to Germany

   A  Polish  court  Thursday  upheld an order to extradite to Germany an
   alleged Israeli intelligence agent suspected in the assassination of a
   Palestinian militant leader in Dubai.
   Israeli  citizen  Uri  Brodsky is accused of forging a German passport
   used  by  a  member  of  a  team  of agents who allegedly killed Hamas
   commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh.
   Brodsky was arrested in Warsaw in July.
   Germany  issued  the  extradition  request for Brodsky to face forgery
   charges.  But  the  terms  of  the  extradition prevent him from being
   charged with espionage.
   He is expected to be handed over to Germany within 10 days.
   Dubai says agents from Israel's Mossad intelligence agency used forged
   passports  and  fake identities of Australian, British, French, German
   and  Irish  nationals  in an operation to kill Mabhouh. Israel neither
   confirms nor denies involvement in the killing.
